Cooperative Purchasing

The Greater Portland Council of Governments’ (GPCOG) Cooperative Purchasing program saves our municipalities thousands of dollars every year. We coordinate a competitive bidding process for the purchase of a wide variety of vendor products and services to obtain the best possible pricing for our municipalities, and those of our colleagues at SMPDC and MCOG.

For our 2020-2021 bid cycle, we saved our member communities, other cities, towns, and school districts more than $545,000.
