Levine’s research made it clear that more needed to be done to ease zoning restrictions to allow greater housing density, and to link new housing development to public transportation.
As Levine’s report shows, municipal zoning is a barrier to creating new housing opportunities for everyone who needs it. That’s why the communities in our region are working hard to expand housing choices for our residents and address the high cost of housing for our region’s workforce.
