In August 2019, the Town of Sebago contacted MaineDOT and GPCOG to express concerns for pedestrian safety along a portion of Route 11/114 in the village area identified as North Sebago.
The purpose of this study is to create a plan for safe pedestrian crossings in the study area, which
encompasses a stretch of Route 11/114 in North Sebago. The study identifies areas of the roadway with adequate sight distance and investigates potential traffic calming alternatives. This safety study analyzes those locations and makes recommendations for pedestrian crossings.
