Responsibilities
Kristina provides a high-level vision and strategy for all
GPCOG and PACTS regional initiatives. She has worked abroad and in the U.S. on:
- Climate initiatives
- Energy
- Housing
- Public policy
- Smart growth
- Transportation
Professional Experience
Kristina has served as GPCOG's executive director since 2016. She previously worked as the director of Transportation for Massachusetts, a statewide coalition that advocates for policies that are innovative, sustainable and environmentally-friendly.
Before joining the coalition in 2011, Kristina served as director of the South Coast Rail project for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. She was also the first director of the Massachusetts Smart Growth Alliance. Kristina also served as a Freeport Town Councilor for over four years.
Education
Kristina holds a Master's degree in international economics and international relations from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a Bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University.
