Responsibilities

Marcel supports GPCOG’s community outreach efforts – helping to engage community members, groups and organizations in transportation and land-use planning. Marcel works primarily for GPCOG’s Mobility For All program and works closely with the Community Transportation Leaders. Marcel also plays a key role in supporting PACTS compliance with civil rights mandates.

 

Experience
After his university studies, Marcel worked as an intern at the German international organization GIZ, where he worked with consultants to build community development plans for rural communes in Burundi. He later joined Ebenezer Ministry International as project manager of a school building project. After he moved to Nashua, NH, he founded the African Community of One Greater Nashua and worked as a community organizer.

 

Education 
Marcel has a B.A. in Communications for Development from the Université Lummière de Bujumbura. He is an alumnus of Leadership Greater Nashua Class session 2017-2018. He speaks French, Swahili, Kirundi and Kinyarwanda.
