Kat supports GPCOG’s community outreach efforts to advance the inclusion of historically underrepresented communities in transportation planning and decision-making. Her work focuses on supporting the Mobility For All program, in which she helps coordinate the Community Transportation Leaders program. In her communications role, she helps communicate GPCOG’s regional initiatives to the public using inclusive practices.
Kat was an intern at GPCOG during the summer of 2019 and helped coordinate the Host Homes Program that found housing for the influx of asylum seekers that arrived in Maine that summer. Kat most recently worked for the City of South Portland as a COVID-19 outreach specialist for marginalized communities.
Kat holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Development Studies from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts.
