Responsibilities
Kat works to advance the inclusion of historically underrepresented communities in transportation planning and decision-making. She manages and coordinates the Mobility For All programs, which engages a broad range of community members, organizations, and decision-makers in improving transportation access for people who experience barriers.
Experience
Kat was an intern at GPCOG during the summer of 2019 and helped coordinate the Host Homes Program that found housing for the influx of asylum seekers that arrived in Maine that summer. Kat most recently worked for the City of South Portland as a COVID-19 outreach specialist for marginalized communities.
Education
Kat holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Development Studies from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts.
