Responsibilities
Kelly supports GPCOG’s sustainability, resilience, and planning programming. Her work engages with member communities on climate action planning, public outreach, and sustainability initiatives. She also contributes to regional planning efforts including land use, comprehensive, and transportation planning, and data collection and analysis.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining GPCOG full-time, Kelly served as the Regional Planning Fellow as a member of the Resilience Corps, an AmeriCorps program hosted by GPCOG. Before the Resilience Corps, Kelly worked at a private consulting firm as an environmental planner where she focused on National Environmental Policy Act projects, documentation, and applications.
Education
Kelly received a master’s degree in Geography from Syracuse University and a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Geoscience from the University of Notre Dame.
