He oversees the delivery of high-level customer service across municipalities and promotes regional priorities at state and federal levels. Andrew contributes to the development and implementation of communication strategies, including the Great Maine Neighborhoods campaign, and manages content creation for diverse communication channels. He is responsible for enhancing GPCOG's digital presence and manages the production and co-hosting of the "Let's Connect Greater Portland" radio show and podcast.
As a former Portland City Councilor, Candidate for Mayor, and small business owner, Andrew's experience is marked by his effective policy skills and strategic planning in the non-profit, private, and government sectors. His capacity to collaborate with regulatory agencies and community stakeholders has significantly enhanced participation and representation, driving organizational agendas forward. His expertise includes project and program development, profit and revenue generation, performance management, strategic execution, stakeholder engagement, resource management, team training and leadership, and program evaluation. His application in these domains is at the core of the roles he has held and the contributions to the organizations and institutions he has worked with.
Andrew holds a B.S. in Applied Economics from the University of Vermont, equipping him with a strong foundation in economic principles and their practical application. He earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Northeastern University, underscoring his deep understanding of public administration and policy.
